Varicose veins can often be cosmetic and never cause discomfort. To those that have pain, aching, throbbing, swelling or heaviness in their lower limbs then we can help. Our scans will identify the source of your varicose veins so that any treatments are targeted to the root cause rather than simply treating what can be seen. Without treating the source your varicose veins are sure to recur. All our varicose vein scans (venous incompetence) check your deep and superficial veins. We can assess one leg (60 mins; £199) or both legs (90 mins; £349) from groin to ankle. Please note, you will need to be able to stand for the duration of the scan. We have a collaborative network of vascular surgeons that we can refer you to have your varicose vein surgery. Consultation charges with our Clinical Scientist are deducted from the cost of your scan, should a scan be necessary. Your scan fee will include a report and schematic of the ultrasound findings.
